Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. Very good food, kind crew, very helpful. Interesting speeches about wildlife and environment. Kayaking was nice and indeed scenery is magnificent.

Kepler Oaks Chalet ligt in Te Anau in de regio Southland, op 5,6 km van Te Anau Glow Worm Caves en biedt gratis WiFi, een speeltuin, gratis fietsen en gratis privéparkeren. Zeer ruim en comfortabel appartement. Geweldig uitzicht waar je ook kijkt. Ook vanuit het huis vanwege de grote ramen. Heel verzorgd en zeer schoon. We voelden ons welkom door de hartelijke bejegening. Het voeren van schapen, alpaca en Big Dave de haan, was ook voor onze volwassen kinderen een leuke extra 😉 En ze mochten zelfs nog het lammetje melk laten drinken. De plek is heerlijk rustig en toch dicht bij Te Anau. Mooi wandel tracks vlakbij.

Tomogalak Lodge heeft een tuin, en biedt accommodatie in Lumsden met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. Being a farm location was fantastic, getting up in the morning and waking up to a view like that was extremely pleasing

Tukare Cabins bevindt zich op 6,2 km van Fiordland Cinema en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. It is a unique experience living in the nature. You can hear birds chirping at night and in the morning. Always greeted by the awesome view from our room every morning. It was really nice to be able to see the scenery and the panoramic lake view when showering. The toilet bowl seat is warm so it is super comfortable that you won’t want to get up! 😆 The cabin has all the necessities needed such as bedroom slipper, pots and pans (with cutlery), toaster, induction cooking, all consumables are complimentary (including a huge loaf of bread, cereals, milk, eggs and wine (red and white)!! Super generous). There is a dedicated car park lot for our cabin right outside. It’s only about 5-7 min drive from the town so it’s a good getaway from the crowd and noise. No noise from highway. V quiet and serene.

Gastvrijheid. Jan en Jeff zijn super! Gezellige sfeer. Leuke huisdieren (hond en kat). Schone kamer. Goed bed. Goed ontbijt. Prima locatie om de Milford Sound te bezoeken

Rarakau Lodge in Tuatapere biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een barbecue. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Amazing place to stay just where the Humpridge Track starts. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Nice coffee. We also got some pizzas and amazing showers after the trail. They allowed us to charge our EV for an extra fee, which was super convenient for us. We will definitely come back

ToiToi Papatotara BnB bevindt zich in Papatotara en beschikt over een hot tub. Deze accommodatie aan het strand heeft een terras, gratis privéparkeren en gratis WiFi. Superb all around! Lovely location looking out over the sea. Lovely hostess, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a continental breakfast with just about everything you could think of in the cupboards/fridge. I would definitely stay here again

Niagara Ridge Retreat will always be remembered as the place where we first caught the aurora australis (Southern Lights). We rented the accommodation for 3 days 2 nights. Before the trip, we hoped to see the Southern Lights. So imagine the excitement when we actually caught it on the 2nd night/3rd morning of our stay, in the comfort of the accommodation. The location is perfect with amazing views. The weather was a bit chilly during our stay so we did not use the outdoor spa. The rooms are spacious and well heated. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. This is one of the best accommodations we had stayed. Highly recommend!

Spent hours watching the sea. And the house was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. And the location to the beach was wonderful. The hot tub was a lovely addition. And being able to bring our dog was so special for us
