The vegetarian dinner at the restaurant was gourmet level and beyond our expectations. There are lovely paths up the mountain to the farm and temple, with even more stunning views. You are quite literally in the clouds early in the morning which makes Stardome an amazing place to stay. It was the perfect place to wind down after hectic days at Machu Picchu.

The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Rooms at Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness have impeccable 5- star hotel décor with a colonial style. They all offer a jacuzzi with a heated towel rack, LCD TV and free Wi-Fi. Such a beautiful property. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely - serene and calm and the perfect place to stay for Sacred Valley. The gardens are very peaceful and quiet Our room was great - large and really well appointed and very relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice and the Spa was fantastic. The gym is also excellent. The team were all very good but a special mention to Andres, Luis, Wally and Diana who took great care of us and delivered exceptional personalised service. I had a treatment at the Spa with Yesica who was also fantastic .

Guest may enjoy our buffet breakfast from 05:00 am to 10:00 am for an extra fee, There are a hot tub and a sauna in the Tierra Viva Valle Sagrado Hotel's spa. The facilities were amazing !! The bed was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was good. We couldn’t enjoy of the breakfast buffet because we had to leave early for a trip, but the staff prepared our breakfast in a bag to take away, really appreciated it.

The Cartagena’s spa has large windows looking out onto a garden terrace. Guests can benefit from a variety of body treatments or relax on loungers by the large hydromassage tub. This is a truly amazing hotel. The building has a lot of charm. The staff is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are spacious and beautiful . Breakfast is very good and most important it is quite in the night. Fantastic hotel
