This is a truly wonderful place to stay. It feels very luxurious, in a good way - we paid a little extra for a room with a bathtub and it was definitely worth it. The hotel is a 2-min walk from the lake. We didn't have any problems communicating with the host and the breakfast was great (I had the vegetarian option).

The location is heart-stoppingly beautiful on the upper slope of a hill overlooking a winding creek, thick rainforest and green agricultural fields - with views going to a far far distance. The hosts personally attended to our every request and took extra steps to pamper us: for example the hostess handed us a pair of binoculars because the view is so amazing and there really are so many layers of interesting things to see. The heavy rainfall kept us indoor but the outdoor covered jacuzzi facing the amazing view was an exceptional experience. There is a world of additional activities which we could not partake in or enjoy - because we were there for only one night and under heavy rainfall - but this is a place worth staying at - and for longer durations.
