Although the hotel is tucked away in the charming maze of the old city and a bit tricky to find, a quick phone call solved everything — a staff member arrived within minutes to personally escort us. Later, when we asked for directions to Ulu Cami, a kind lady from the hotel actually walked us there herself. We were also pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary Turkish tea and coffee, which made us feel even more welcome. Such genuine care and thoughtful service are rare to find. An unforgettable experience — we wholeheartedly recommend it!

Maridin Hotel heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Mardin. Dit hotel is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Mardin Centrum en heeft een bar. It was a historical and mystic place which we loved so much!!! The staff were wonderful and helpful anytime we needed. The room was clean and spacious. The location was central to the main places so we didn’t need a car to travel around.

Is wel klassiek en dat is waar ik naar op zoek was. Ligt achter een hele drukke oude winkelstraat. Dus houd rekening met parkeren. Wat het voor mij perfect maakte was het personeel! Chapeau!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place was exceptionally clean and looked brand new. The lighting and room size were just perfect, making the stay very comfortable. Everyone working there was extremely welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay. I’d like to give special thanks to Mr. Azad at the reception — he was especially kind and made everything smooth and easy for us. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely stay here again!

This place looks good but be aware of the situation. This is a mixed business, the main part is the very large but aesthetic and atmospheric cafe/restaurant. It is fairly constantly very busy catering to vast numbers of tourists and is open from morning until 11 pm. The hotel rooms surround the restaurant/cafe and there are tables placed immediately outside the rooms. All that goes with such a setting occurs eg. loud conversations, smoking, chairs scraping and children playing mornings and night all within 1-2 meters of the room.

The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. I only stayed one night, but I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Midyat. I had an incredible view and can't forget to mention about delicious breakfast I had.
