They contacted me on the day of the arrival, which is nice, not every hoteel does it. Perfect location - walk over the bridge and you are in the old town. I liked quirky deco of the room, but as I travelled alone, obviously I didn't mind transparent shower walls. Some people might find it uncomfortable.

Friendly staff and great location! There was an option to rent a bicycle for cheap. That added an extra to my trip.

You can't get a better location than here! Right on Hauptplatz, near the river, and with the tourist train stopping at your doorstep. Quite a few good bars, restaurants & cafes nearby. Service was excellent - we asked that the room be cleared of "fragile" items before arrival, so we had less stress about bringing our toddler.

The family-run Hotel zum Schwarzen Bären is located in a quiet side street in the centre of Linz, only a 3-minute walk away from the main square. It offers free Wi-Fi access.

Excellent hotel to stay at and a short walk to pretty much anything you want to see and do in Linz.

New rooms, nice design, there’s AC. Water and bottle of wine for free. Greate location. They allowed us to leave bags in lockers after check out. Big tv. I would like to back again
