Hotels near Matagorda, Puerto del Carmen

Lovely decor, clean sleek lines , spacious rooms with great bathrooms, lovely balcony and all really well maintained. We were there mid December and never a problem for beds at the pool or never queues at the buffet. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and ran until 11am which was great, especially if you wanted to get in a yoga or Pilates class before breakfast. One of our main criteria in booking were the spa and fitness classes all included and it didn’t disappoint. There were 3 classes each morning running from 9am - yoga, aerial yoga or Pilates first two session then followed by aqua fit in the pool and then usually stretching/ yoga options also late afternoon - all really well run and never overcrowded- although with only 6 places for aerial yoga it was sometimes oversubscribed , but never an issue as you could follow similar poses on the ground 😉. Spa consisted of a small sauna and steam room - not the biggest but again we were mostly the only ones there. Jacuzzi and bubble beds were located outside and were a bitty chilly due to the time of year. Staff were lovely and always helpful. All in all a fabulous hotel, we would go back !

I loved everything! Starting with the location of the hotel "pieds dans l'eau "with an infinity pool and two jacuzzis directly overlooking the sea, an easy access to the near beaches, lush greenery and palm trees all over and littlevm nooks set up in the garden. The food quality was excellent, the buffet was very varied and changed every day of the week, mumtopled healthy options too, there are two other restaurants available à la carte. The atmosphere in the evening was, calm, cozy and romantic with live violin players or a saxophonists. The decor of the the of the hotel was to my taste, it is modern exotic with a touch of originality, "du charme" et "du cachet". The even most pleasant thing was the customer service, the staff is really very well trained, very polite, attentive and anticipated my needs.
