I spent an amazing week at CREW Hotel and every aspect exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help; nothing was ever too much trouble. As someone who works on the road, the dedicated coworking space with lightning-fast fiber-optic internet was a game changer. Having unlimited hot drinks, fresh fruit and chilled water on hand meant I could stay productive (and hydrated) without leaving the hotel. Every morning started on a high note with an exceptional breakfast, freshly prepared and varied each day; it quickly became one of the highlights of my stay. After work, the serene indoor pool became my go-to spot to unwind. Despite being in the heart of Chiang Mai, the property is remarkably quiet; I slept like a dream thanks to the plush mattress and high-quality linens. The bathroom deserves a special mention too; the powerful rainfall shower felt like a daily spa treatment. Location wise, you are within easy walking or short Grab ride distance of cafés, markets, temples and the Old City, and you still return to a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. In short, CREW Hotel delivers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience and genuine hospitality. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially fellow remote workers looking for a hassle-free, inspiring place to stay.

Wat Sri Suphan is a silver temple that costs 50 Bahts to...

Wat Sri Suphan is a silver temple that costs 50 Bahts to enter and is open from 9.00am to 9.30pm. Please note that women are not allowed to enter so I took some photographs outside. Modest clothing is required to enter the Temple. It is an exquisite Lanna-style Buddhist temple originally dates to the 16th century. Wat Srisuphan was founded in 1502, but little remains of the original wát except for some teak pillars and roof beams in the main sanctuary. The murals inside show an interesting mix of Taoist, Zen and Theravada Buddhist elements.

Tri Yaan Na Ros Colonial House is a very cute stay that makes you feel transported to a different era. The highlight is definitely the owner, a wonderfully sweet woman. We arrived a bit early, and she kindly gave us a better room for the first night that was available. She also shared many helpful tips for exploring the area over the next days. The hotel is very close to Wat Sri Suphan – the Silver Temple and nearby school, it was very cute listening to the joyful kids during the day. A true gem!
