Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

The host is very friendly and provides adequate information before we arrived at the property. We select to have dinner at the property, and the food is high quality and very delicious. Location is in the quiet area with stunning view of the mountains. The fall foliage around the area is so beautiful.

The location next to the bus stop and walking distance to downtown was great. The owner was very patient and helpful and answered my many questions.

Such a beautiful property and rooms, staff were lovely, the owner even picked us up from the train stop and dropped us off to our next hotel! Super close to the ski lift as well. Everything perfect!

Pension Belnina bevindt zich in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij wintersportgebied Happo One en busterminal Hakuba Happo. Helpful and friendly host that took good care of us and recommended ski resorts/restaurants. There are two private onsen in the property to have a proper bath after a full day of snowboarding/skiing. And the breakfast was amazing as well

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B is gelegen in Chino en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge ligt in Yamanouchi, op 20 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Iedere unit heeft een zitgedeelte en een eetgedeelte. MOKO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meals were amazing. Would come back a million times over.

Pension Tomato ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort en biedt ruime kamers in westerse stijl met een loft. Close to the main road, amazingly friendly staffs, good size room with bath. Fridge, washing machine, ensuite bath, big kitchen space were available. We had 4 single beds in our room and was big enough for all 4 of us. The bed was comfortable too. The onsen in the shared area was also nice. You had to make reservations in advance to secure a 45min slot. One was only inside but the other had both inside and outside baths.

Log Cottage Epoch ligt op 10 minuten lopen van Happo One Ski Resort en u kunt een hele cottage huren. Elke ruime cottage is voorzien van gratis WiFi en beschikt over een keuken en een woonkamer. Super comfortable stay with everything we needed to cook after a day on the slopes. The bedding was excellent, showers and toilets worked well. Our host Toshi really made the stay exceptional, he helped us wherever he could, dropped us at the lifts each day and made it really special. Location was excellent, with a shuttle stop for the other mountains 2 minutes walk away. The on-site Onsen was also great and worth booking after a long day. Can’t recommend this stay highly enough, truly 10/10!
