Personalet var utroligt søde til at komme med forskelligt mad, da min kæreste og jeg lå syge med madforgiftning (madforgiftningen var ikke fra deres restaurant!).

Las Guacamayas Lodge, Selva Lacandona, Chiapas México ligger i Tlatizapán og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, roomservice, bar, have, terrasse og legeplads. Very beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. Loved the flowers all around and the look of the place. Beds were comfortable and it's a nice touch to give soap and shampoo that are not damaging for the environnement. The restaurant was also fine. Bring your bottle to refill with the water provided.

Finca Vallescondido ligger i El Caobano og har bjergudsigt, restaurant, roomservice, bar, have, terrasse og legeplads. Både wi-fi og privat parkering tilbydes gratis hos lodgen. The family running the hotel is very friendly. Nice location in between Palenque and Yaxchilan temples. Very good food for dinner. A small river runs through the property (nice sounds which you can hear from the room).

Dette resort ligger i Lacandon-junglen i Palenque, 5 minutters kørsel fra den arkæologiske zone i Palenque. Naturparken Cascadas Agua Azul ligger 60 km derfra. Smuk beliggenhed i junglen. Stedet er lidt mere slidt end vist på billederne. Det er ærgerligt, at man ikke har f.eks. flaskevand eller lignende til fri afbenyttelse, fordi man er langt væk fra indkøbsmuligheder. Det samme med f.eks. en lille kiosk. Det kunne vi godt have brugt, da vi er en familie med børn. Restauranten, der er på stedet, er meget middelmådig. Personalet er dog generelt virkelig søde.

Entremares ligger i Tonalá og har gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde godt af en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Der er privat parkering mod et ekstra gebyr. We traveled 3,000 km specifically to return to Entremares for an entire week. It did not disappoint! It is off the beaten path and summer-camp rustic. Perfect! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is good, and it's really amazing to be able to swim in both the ocean and the sound. This is a peaceful place that is very quiet at night. Lots of nature, hammocks for reading.

Hotel Cabañas Safari ligger blot 8 km fra Palenque-kvarteret og 1 km fra byen Palenque. Der tilbydes udendørs pool og traditionelt Temazcal-dampbad. I loved the vibe of the place. Silence. And aquati running around!

Guadalupe B&B ligger i San Cristóbal de Las Casas og har gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde godt af en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. the complex with the inner patio is just magnificent, its really quiet and the view from the rooftop (we rented the house a few days earlier with friends, before my stay alone there) is beautiful. the staff, cleaning service and especially Yagil are very welcoming and can help you with every request even without being able to speak spanish. the double room i stayed alone in is perfect size and most important the tap water in the complex is treated so its safe to use for brushing teeth etc. that otherwise can be a problem in San Cris. Another good tip is to go on a tour with Yagil in the jungle/mountains dont miss that out!! free water, EXCELENT WIFI!!
