The family running the hotel is very friendly. Nice location in between Palenque and Yaxchilan temples. Very good food for dinner. A small river runs through the property (nice sounds which you can hear from the room).

Det samme med f.eks. en lille kiosk. Det kunne vi godt have brugt, da vi er en familie med børn. Restauranten, der er på stedet, er meget middelmådig. Personalet er dog generelt virkelig søde.

Entremares ligger i Tonalá og har gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde godt af en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Der er privat parkering mod et ekstra gebyr. We traveled 3,000 km specifically to return to Entremares for an entire week. It did not disappoint! It is off the beaten path and summer-camp rustic. Perfect! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is good, and it's really amazing to be able to swim in both the ocean and the sound. This is a peaceful place that is very quiet at night. Lots of nature, hammocks for reading.

Hotel Cabañas Safari ligger blot 8 km fra Palenque-kvarteret og 1 km fra byen Palenque. Der tilbydes udendørs pool og traditionelt Temazcal-dampbad. It was like a resort but very quiet. The swimming pool was warm and amazing. There were a lot of birds and the Hammocks on the patios were excellent. Breakfast was ok. Taking a bus to town and the bus station was very simple. The handsome manager was pleasant and helpful. Taking a tour Bus (Otisa) from San Cristobal de las casas to Palenque was the way to go, safe and affordable and when you are done the 3 stop tour of the waterfalls and Palenque Pyramids have them drop you off on the road in front at Cabana Safari, it really is an oasis and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to have snacks with you. Careful with the Taxi Drivers and know your prices. Be sure to visit Christian at the Monopoly Drink very near the town square, his drinks are amazing and very exquisite and unique.

Gæsterne kan nyde godt af en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. the complex with the inner patio is just magnificent, its really quiet and the view from the rooftop (we rented the house a few days earlier with friends, before my stay alone there) is beautiful. the staff, cleaning service and especially Yagil are very welcoming and can help you with every request even without being able to speak spanish. the double room i stayed alone in is perfect size and most important the tap water in the complex is treated so its safe to use for brushing teeth etc. that otherwise can be a problem in San Cris. Another good tip is to go on a tour with Yagil in the jungle/mountains dont miss that out!! free water, EXCELENT WIFI!!
