We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

Amazing location. Sam, the owner, will turn the world upside down to make your stay feel as comfortable as possible. The place is very clean, there is a shared kitchen very well equipped and a shared living room with the coolest fireplace ever. The location has a cool industrial look. We spent 2 nights so during the day we hiked the nearby peaks and during the night we gawked our eyes at the night sky for meteors because of the Perseids. Because of the short stay we couldn't take advantage of all the activities that are possible (ATV's, hot tub, paragliding) but we plan to on our next stay. Thank you Sam for making us feel like old friends.

Very nice combination between maintaining the traditional features of the old house and adding on top all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.

Everything was amazing, the house was fully equipped, nothing was missing. It was clean and super cozy. Perfect for chilling in the mountains🤩. I had a bit of concern as the reviews were only positive, but after my stay I can confirm I am left with only positive memories.
