Surrounded by nature and the occasional sounds of wildlife, Khaosok Riverside Cottages offers wooden accommodation, steps away from a calm river. Free WiFi is provided in the shared lounge. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They organized pickup/travel from our previous hotel. The location is quiet and isolated - perfect with nature. We loved the hammock and porch area.

Prefect, everything we needed was attended fast and easy. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we need. The location is central in koh phangan, but you must have a scooter to actually get to places.

A very short walk to the beach.

The entire experience was enjoyable, from the host’s warm welcome to the mountain views over the rice paddies, the room, the food. The rooms are spotlessly clean thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. The coffee setup in the room was very impressive. The congee at breakfast (made with rice, meat and veg from the farm) was simple and refined. It might be the best pork meatball in soup I’ve had in Thailand. I would go back just for another bowl!

Cave Lodge ligt in Pang Mapha, op 48 km van Avondmarkt van Pai, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Elke unit beschikt over een balkon met uitzicht op de rivier. I think this could be my favorite place in the world. The perfect combination of nature and comfort. I will definitely be back and for a longer stay. Couldn't reccomend enough

Even if you haven't the time or inclination to visit the elephant sanctuary across the river, you can watch the elephants bathe in The Mekong twice daily from your balcony - all of which face the river.
