Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. We liked our lodge and its setting. The afternoon game drive was great especially seeing the giraffes close up and feeding the lovely Lucy. A real treat. We only stayed for 1 night but the facilities were excellent, bar, restaurant, games room and small pool. It was also possible to walk around the area a bit.

The property is big and a highlight of our trip was to see the giraffes up close. Breakfast and dinner are well made. They give you tips on when to go to Aldo to see the elephants. The park is about an hour away.
