it was comfortable, staff were friendly, the room was large and clean, the food was good - what you look for in a hotel. Oh - and the shuttle to the airport was also helpful - it is a short walking distance but there are no pavements so a shuttle helps

Wow, what a hidden pearl. The history of this place is worth the visit alone. Besides Nicolas who makes all guests feel welcome and is a genius chef at the same time, the place has beautiful spacious rooms, an incredible surrounding and instagrammers will get very stressed to manage all during a stay. mix that with everything from horse riding, night walk, wine and cheese and/or beer tasting, a fantastic menu, jacuzzi in a cave, views and a heaven for kids. so much to say. it’s an experience driving in, take it as such, because what awaits you is fantastic

The hotel is beautiful and my suite was superb with a view on to the garden at the front and the polo pitch at the rear. Food was superb, both breakfast and evening meal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor heated pool and spa/gym facilities were clean and well equipped. A peaceful environment, perfect for some R+R..

Unique Ecuadorian decor! Great staff… especially Santiago and his off-sider Bruce! Santiago couldn’t do enough for us and his command of English was great! The restaurant/cafe downstairs had fantastic meals, and both reception/cleaning staff, Blanca and Maria were fabulous!
