The breakfast, the food in general was delicious, but absolutely the best thing was the personnel. They all were so helpful, polite and thoughtful: Always one step ahead. Then for us Finns, the sauna with iki-kiuas was offcourse the ultimate experience. There is hardly never a sauna this good outside of Finland. Loved it.

It was easy to get in to, was clean and had all we needed for a good nights sleep.

Hotel Hermitage is located at 2050 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Matterhorn, and provides a free shuttle to the ski lifts.

We stayed with our dog for one night during a multi-day hike, and it was by far the best hotel we stayed at in the area. The rooms are stunning, with two levels (duplex), and pets are welcome — for an extra fee, but they get a nice bed, bowls, and treats. The breakfast had an incredible array of buffet options, as well as some "a la carte" dishes which were incredible (I still remember the french toast in particular). More importantly, the staff is super helpful — we needed a taxi on our departure day to avoid an extra long hike, and since no taxis were available until the afternoon, they made an exception and drove us to our destination in their private shuttle car. We'll definitely be staying there again, and hopefully for more than just one day to make the most of the amazing spa, indoor swimming pool, and to try the indoor rock climbing center!

Location on a ridge and almost in the slope offers true ski in-ski out-experience. Breakfast was brought to rooms every morning and was good although it lacked fresh foods like tomatoes, cucumber and fruits. Suites was spacious and cozy. They offer transfer service to the village but it is not that far if you want to walk. Staff was helpful and we received all the help we needed in a second.

This is a family run hotel and as such, felt like we were at home in the Alps. Staff, room size, welcome, everything was amazing. Pool with hot tub area was a nice bonus after a day on skis.

Hi, we had a great time! The apartment is adorable and very romantic, especially for a couple. Plus, it has all the comforts! :) So, highly recommended! Of course, we also really appreciated the prompt availability of the staff whenever we needed it!
