It is not the first hotel where we stayed within that area, but definitely the best one! Booking it I didn't expect to get such a level of hospitality, comfort and care. It is a masterpiece: amazing combination of design, technologies, comfort and coziness. From the very first minute we felt so welcomed that didn't want to leave. Giada, Daniele thank you for your help at all the stages of our stay! Massimo, we were honored to be welcomed by you! Restaurant 'LeBolle' deserves a special comment: food, wine list, service are amazing! Table setting with all the small details was so sophisticated that brought aesthetic pleasure in addition to gastronomic experience. Looking forward to spa area opening, I may expect it will be fantastic!

The Lago Maggiore remains one of the most unsettling places in Europe. Isola Bella stands as a jewel of architecture, dreamlike, suspended, half-composed of hanging gardens illuminated by roses and blue peacocks. Imagine being able to contemplate Borromean islands, all different, historical but alive (‘neither quite the same nor quite another’, as Paul Verlaine wrote) emerging from a silvery lake, from an Olympian height, embracing the surrounding mountains with a single glance. Welcome. Sylvia, your host, perfectly organized and gently methodical, has a logical answer to each of your questions (even before your arrival). The gate opens, your car slowly drives down a gravel driveway, shaded by century-old trees, and the house appears, poised, facing a breathtaking scenery. The architectural terrace, overhanging, offers you this incredible view that you can enjoy from different perspectives, sitting on a bench, or in armchairs, hammocks or smiling blissfully in the modern outdoor jacuzzi. All the facilities are top of the line and explained by Sylvia in detail upon your arrival. Like on a ‘Carte du Tendre’, you can pick shady or sunny spots, isolated or close by, but always carefully thought out. The private wellness room on the ground floor includes all instruments and accessories: saunas, tropical showers, elliptical bike, massage chairs, etc. Later, going up to the small perched space that is dedicated to you (as long as you want to spend an exceptional moment, put the cursor at the maximum), you will find yourself in the middle of the vegetation, still enjoying the view, grandiose, from a small chalet, in a bright space optimized with taste. A fire in the wood stove, two flutes of Prosecco and gentle music will follow. A house designed by an Italian composer in a heavenly garden, pointing at the Borromean Islands with your loved one … if you’re romantic, what are you waiting for? Michel et Carine.

Excellent hotel for relaxing and getting away from it all, location 5 minutes from town with fabulous restaurants offering fine dining at reasonable prices. We traveled in June so it was fairly quiet which suited us. We eat out most evening but went back to the hotel for a nightcap where we were looked after by Lorenzo & Blend who were both top drawer barmen and all round nice people. Would definitely return at some stage.

The staff were exceptional, they are wonderfully considerate and very attentive. Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

Casa Fantini is sublime, an oasis, each aspect is considered and exquisite it it’s delivery. The room was beautiful and elegant with modern touches that enhance the experience. The restaurant which I booked as the last minute was perhaps the most delicious and amazing food I’ve tasted. The breakfast was abundant and presented with sophistication. Overall this hotel was incredible an amazing location and such lovely and friendly staff that enhance the experience.
