Almareia Boutique Hotel ligt in Praia dos Carneiros, op een paar minuten lopen van Praia dos Carneiros, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. This hotel was absolutely outstanding. We stayed in room 33 which was incredible. The views were breathtaking. Our bed was very comfortable, you have a choice of your pillow. Every night they left a sweet treat on our bed. The hotel staff was above and beyond. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They thought of literally everything to make us the most memorable stay. We didn’t want to leave! The restaurant is absolutely delicious. We ate most of our meals here. The breakfast is SO GOOD! It’s the nicest breakfast I’ve ever had included in a hotel stay. The hotel itself is located a little further south than the hustle of Praia dos carneiros but this is for the best. The beach is stunning and so quiet. We walked about 5k on the beach each way to get to carneiros which was nice for a day walk but so glad we stayed out at Almareia. I should also mentioned my wife and I don’t speak Portuguese and while most of the staff doesn’t speak English it was never a problem. They were so patient with us!

Excellent location, walking distance to a gorgeous beach (Boldro) and some restaurants and snack places, but the restaurant at the hotel was excellent too. Super friendly staff helped us with arrangements for tours and dives.
