We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

In stunning parkland, close to York, Aldwark Manor Estate is a Victorian manor house that mixes traditional style with modern bedrooms featuring free WiFi. Ontvangst bij de receptie was top. We vroegen naar de mogelijkheid van een ander type kamer en men bood ons een goede optie aan. Onze kamer was ruim en voorzien van airco. Niets op aan te merken; voldeet aan alle verwachtingen. De kamer bevond zich in een bijgebouw maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. De bedden waren perfect. Men was ten tijde van ons verblijf bezig met een verbouwing maar dat gaf in het geheel geen overlast. We kijken met veel plezier terug op ons verblijf.

Redmire Village Pub is gelegen in Redmire, op 35 km van pretpark Lightwater Valley, en biedt een tuin, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een bar. Breakfast was excellent, every evening we had our dinner and drinks in the pub as well as the food was excellent and prices were good

Dewars Restaurant and Rooms ligt in Malton, op minder dan 1 km van pretpark en dierentuin Flamingo Land, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde... All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The hospitality tray was filled with beverages and snacks along with 2 bottles of water. It was a bonus to have a fan in the room as I like to fall asleep to white noise. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. The swimming pool looked inviting but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it, maybe next time we will as we like the hotel so much we've already booked another stay!

Honestly could not fault this property. Ben & Eileen were exceptional hosts who contacted us before, during and after our stay to ensure everything was ok. Lovely touches like a lemon drizzle cake, teas & coffees & a pint of milk in the fridge for us on arrival. The apartment was spotless and having a parking space so close to Richmond town centre was a real benefit. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone else.
