Area was rural and quiet, except for the ducks who were beautiful but not too noisy. So comfortable, large private space, homemade bread and jam, fresh eggs, cereals for choosing. Alison was lovely and was so welcoming and willing to help if needed. Lovely stay, highly recommend.

The lodge was perfect and just what i was looking for to stay with my toddler who loves running around. The farm was beautiful too. We will be coming back in the summer!

In the heart of Sherwood Forest, The Dukeries Lodge, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire is situated in scenic Edwinstowe. Breakfast : very nice and love the full english breakfast, coffee and yorkshire tea are very nice Room: warm + clean + beautiful Dinner: N/A. We were too full to eat dinner. But we would like to try it next time we are there.

Amazing host! I’ve never met a more thoughtful host, more interested in the wellbeing of their guests! The house is very well equipped with all the facilities and the amenities one could possibly need on their trip. One very important aspect for us since travelling with a toddler was the heating, which works great and the whole building is warm and cosy. We arrived late at night and it felt wonderful that Sharon has left for us in the kitchen bread, butter, milk, water, tea, coffee, some signature cocktails for the adults and even a toy for our son. The Fothergill legacy is not only well taken care of, but it is also wonderfully transformed in a beautiful home-away-from-home: a house with a soul!

POPPY LUXURY LODGE Sleeps 8 at Fairview Farm, Ravenshead, Nottingham Near Sherwood Forest, Dog Friendly, Farm Stay great for wedding groups, families, Hen Do's, friends gatherings with amazing views... Beautiful property in an idyllic setting. It was immaculate and comfortable as well as really well equipped. Spending time with the ponies and pigmy goats was an added bonus. We really appreciate the owners offering to dispose of our busted suitcase too. Thanks for a great stay.
