We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

It is clear that they care about their guests. They left some milk, scones in the oven, and fresh eggs. Some books and night light for my little girls. Kitchen had what we needed. They have a cot. Gave clear instructions on how to find it.

Sea Mist Guesthouse ligger i Galway, 19 minutters gang fra Ballyloughane Beach og 2,6 km fra Galway Greyhound Stadium. Stephen was an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable. The room was spotless and cosy. The location was great and we were also a quick 10-minute bus ride away from the city centre (this is great if you don't want to stay right in the city centre). There was tea and coffee available throughout the day, along with a great lounge and kitchen area.
