Tiernan's Luxury Accommodation is gelegen in Charlestown, op 19 km van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Knock en 20 km van Kiltimagh Museum. My family and I stayed at the Green cottage. It was such a fantastic stay and wished it could have been longer. The cottage itself is idyllic and charming with the interior design very well thought of. It is very clean, warm and comfortable. The view is amazing too, and if you're lucky, you'd get to see a few cows grazing in the early morning just a few meters away from the property. The backgarden is huge where little tots could play and run. The host, Ann Marie, is very welcoming and kind. She made sure to send detailed instructions from finding the place to getting in. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we would definitely be back. We're back in Dublin now but we've already recommended this place to our family and friends.

This is a lovely property, in a nice quiet location. There was ample parking to the side of the building. Mary, our host, was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was a very good size, with a view over the surrounding fields. The breakfast was lovely, with a full choice of options, including a full Irish breakfast (which I had on most mornings!). The tea station on the landing was also a very nice touch. Thank you for the biscuit selection as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will stay again next time we are visiting.

The breakfast was first rate, made to order and as they like to say in Ireland "prefect". Rolf had some marmalades on the table and I commented about how good they were. He explained how they came from Annie's Bakery in town and how he procures as much as he can from local supplies and farmers. We stopped at Annie's on our way out of town and purchased three jars of marmalade as well as some yummy pastries. Annie was a lovely lady who was welcoming and a joy to chat with. This is what I loved most about out experiences, meeting people and contributing to their local economy. Upon check-in I had a very unusual request, an 'above and beyond' request and Rolf didn't skip a beat in making sure my request was taken care of. Our room was clean, quite with a lovely window facing the bay. While my wife and I were reading in our room we could here cow's and sheep in the background, really tranquil and nice. This place is special and Rolf makes it extra special. My wife and I wished we had time to spend more days and if ever given the chance we will no doubt come back.
