It’s very convenient, close to Yamagata station, and has many bus stations within 5 mins walking distance. There’s a gym on the 3rd floor, and laundry room on the 8th floor. The staffs were extremely helpful. Special shout out to frond desk staff 石塚さん, she has been so patient and kind to us, thanks again!

The room was as described but that's not a negative, it was a great experience with the footbath and private onsen. Recommend the dinner highly for a local kaiseki offering in a private room.

Miyamaso Takamiya ligger mindre end 10 minutters gang fra svævebanen Zao Sky og har 9 naturlige varme kilder. Ejendommens trækonstruktion er en blanding af traditionel japansk indkvartering. Excellent all around. Amazing food and kind staff who were very attentive and accomodating. Hertiage buikding was an amazing serene setting for a holiday.

蔵王温泉 岩清水料理の宿 季の里 ligger i Zao Onsen, mindre end 1 km fra Zao Skiresort, og har gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er en restaurant der serverer japanske retter, og der er mulighed for gratis privat parkering. We had an excellent stay, food and presentations were exquisite. We admired the thought that went into presenting food in dishes that are compatible with the “mood” of the food. Only 5 minutes walk to the lift. Staff were professional, rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful setting; the room had everything we needed; public areas for relaxing we’re comfortable and inviting. The staff and service was superb; the food was excellent.

Lovely hotel/inn with a very stylish room and our own onsen. The reception staff were all great, but Moe and Sugihara were just so attentive and happy. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice.

Winter closure of the open-air baths "Shirakaba-no-yu" (Late December - 28 February) Due to the accumulation of snow, the open-air bath will be closed during the winter. Hotel's free bus shuttle from Yamagata train station made it easy to commute to the hotel. The location is excellent within walking distance of snow/ski areas. We purchased Zao Ropeway passes from the hotel (cash only). Complimentary accesss to 2 Onsens and boots and coat was an added bonus! We also enjoyed our Japanese style family dinners at their on site restaurant. Staff was very helpful in calling various agencies to check ski lesson availability as most of the agencies spoke in Japanese only. They also helped us book a taxi on our way back to Yamagata train station as the shuttle service only operates twice a day. The rooms were large and beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountain trees covered in snow!
