The hotel comes with a lot of amenities (some free upon request), perfect for a solo traveler like me. Being a studio apartment, the provision of a fridge did help when it came to keeping leftovers for breakfast or storing items from the store nearby. I also had a room facing the courtyard which was very quiet in the night. The staff were extremely friendly and also pointed me to the directions of some attractions as well as the Christmas festivities happening around town. The receptionist even offered me an umbrella on my way out of the building when he realised that it was snowing heavily outside. 10/10 would recommend this hotel with the value you pay as you receive service and amenities above and beyond what is found in other accomodations.

The staff was BEYOND wonderful. I only stayed there for a night but the next time i come to Riga inshallah I will only stay in the Grand Poet hotel. I loved everything about the room as well, very beautiful decor, clean and attention to details was so great.

Loved every minute of our stay and we will definitely come back here!

It is located in Riga’s Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hotel offers spacious rooms with satellite TVs and free WiFi. Location was very central, room was spacious, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was plentiful with great options.
