Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. One of the top things we did on our 5 week journey in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Couldn’t recommend enough. It was so special to stay in the sound for a night, only our boat. We went kayaking and there was no one else there. Morning cruise when the sun was rising and we were the only boat there… will never forget this. When we come back, we’ll definitely book an overnight cruise again.

We absolutely loved our stay. Friendly staff went out of their way to welcome us. The tea, coffee, cookies, wine/ beer in the guest lounge were very welcome. The breakfast was amazing. The quirky, funny touches added to the experience. Something at every turn.

Arran Motel tilbyder indkvartering med egen forplejning i landsbyen Te Anau, tæt på den verdensberømte Milford Sound. Very comfortable and spacious room within easy walking distance of the center and the lake. The owner was very helpful suggesting walks, places to eat etc. If you’re going to visit Milford Sound it’s a great place to stay.

We truly did not want to leave (even in the rain)! I cannot praise the hosts or this apartment enough! The decor and furnishings were absolutely wonderful and made such an inviting and enjoyable environment. And the outdoor space: SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great table as well as seating area - and a hot tub! We were just stunned when we arrived to the 270 degree view. The pantry was really well stocked: cereals, milk, wine, chocolate, etc. -- above and beyond any other place we stayed on the trip!! The 'chilly bin' and water bottles were quite handy to borrow for our day trip to Milford Sound. If you needed something, it was likely there. Plus Susanna was a lovely host - she met us when we arrived and provided a great overview.

Lovely toiletries in the bathroom which is also well equipped. Walkable into town centre (20mins max), parking also available. Great breakfast.

A lovely peaceful little courtyard，The interior design was very clever and full of New Zealand character. It felt like the host is someone who truly enjoys life and has great taste. I hope I’ll have the chance to stay again.

Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodation features a flat-screen TV. Everything was in order and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Parking just beside the room. Kind service.
