Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. It is located on Terceira Island, with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean Promenade, and offers an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

The buffet breakfast features local products. In addition, there is a Bistro at the reception perfect for a light meal or a drink. Staying at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico has been an amazing experience. My best hotel stay ever. Amazingly kind and attentive staff, they all seemed to give their best to make sure that the guests have everything they need and enjoy their stay. The hotel has an amazing location, great view to the ocean, really nice rooms, good gym, nice pool and I also really liked the bar. The value for money is just excellent. Certainly not the cheapest accommodation in Ponta Delgada but taken all into account, it has exceeded my expectations. I would go back anytime, and will definitely do so the next time I am going to the Azores.

The location near the airport didn't bother us as we were out exploring the island all day. We loved to come back to our lovely, spotlessly cleaned, decorated with amicable taste apt. which smelled nice. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch each day. Kitchen had everything we needed and beyond including Nespresso machine. The apt. was quiet and had a patio overlooking the horses. Our son took a beginner lesson riding a horse which was a cherry on top! Still talks about his experience and already misses Biscuit. The pool and jacuzzi area are well maintained. The breakfast made of local products was very good. We enjoined our stay thanks to a very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel provides an indoor pool, sauna and a shared lounge. Ideally located in the center of Ponta Delgada. The room was big and comfortable,with a large bathroom and a comfortable balcony, although now in winter was not fully utilized. The bed was very comfortable with two big pillows. The staff was very polite and friendly.

The property itself - so lovely and exquisite; it’s location with respect to the centre of town and access to other sites around the island; the staff are so clientele focused - couldn’t be more helpful, nothing too much for them, always smiling, lovely individuals; so clean and immaculate and the bed so comfortable.Breakfast was excellent, so much and so tasty.

Lovely breakfast with lots of healthy alternatives. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Like lots of city hotels the rooms are compact but very well appointed. All the staff were very helpful, especially Miguel on reception. Who gave us some great advice on where to eat. Our transfer driver from the airport was great too.
