Het Cypress Mercure Hotel Nagoya ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het JR Nagoya Station en biedt internationale en buffetrestaurants, massages en een businesscentrum. It was conveniently located with an easy walk to Nagoya Station. I’ve seen some mixed reviews about the breakfast, but my husband and I loved trying it at least once. Large variety and you could probably find something you’d enjoy if you’re picky (but we liked being able to try a little of everything). The staff was wonderful. They were the ultimate professionals as we threw a handful of requests and questions at them in English/kindergarten level Japanese when we first arrived — and they were so patient, kind and accommodating. Also close to some great food spots as well as a Lawson’s across the street and 7/11 up the block.
