The amenities provided at the accommodation was complete, I could not think of anything that was lacking! Overall it was a very comfortable stay. I would stay here again if I'd were to return to Otaru.

Situated in Shiraoi, 豊水館 is a Japanese-style traditional accommodation fitted with multiple baths with natural free-flowing hot spring water. My family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights, and it was our favorite place of the five places we had stayed so far. The house was more spacious than we expected, with plenty of room to sleep and relax. The kitchen was very useful. Our boy loved the kids room. The restroom has two toilet rooms with modern appliance. Our girls loved the bathroom sink area with large mirrors and chairs. We did laundry. The private onsen was especially great, with shower area, indoor tub and outdoor tub, all easy to use. The outdoor area was terrific and overlooks the ocean. The design is such that you only hear the ocean on that side of the house. The sauna was great for one or two people. The location is good for that side of the island, close to a few restaurants, the marine park, and geothermal vents and caldera lake. We would definitely return.
