The location was good and the actual room was small but very clean.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. Our room was a short walking distance from the main part of the hotel and it was easy to get around in the old town. Our room was not very big but we knew that and were pleased with it, the view was amazing. The room was also very clean.

Stayed in one of the cave rooms. The ambiance is unique, and it’s a very special experience. Very clean, staff super helpful and professional. Tasty and generous continental breakfast (you have to preorder). The hotel is in the old part of town and within walking distance to most attractions (as long as you don’t mind stairs, but that’s how all of Matera is).

The property was very clean, had a boutique feel yet still had it’s character, it felt like we were in a chic cave. Great location, walking distance from everything. Sara and Gianvito were amazing, such lovely people

Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated house, in quite corner of Matera few minutes walking from the Sassi. Free parking available just outside the door.

The location was amazing, close to the old town of Matera. There were a number of really good restaurants close by. We were met at the property by the host, who was very helpful with details about the property and places to see. Also had lovely boxes of croissants and rolls for lunch and breakfast. property was modern and very clean.

Lovely place, spacious, very clean in wonderful, quiet area, staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was tasty :), the balcony and the view on Matera was outstanding, it was worth every penny to stay in such an amazing place :)

Nice room, balcony for drying clothes, very clean. Coffee, tea & fridge available. Kitchen shared with another room. Location about 20 minute walk to the Sassi. Owner very helpful. Lives in a flat next door.

The apartment had two large spacious bedrooms and lovely kitchen and lounge area. There were three in our group, but this apartment could accommodate up to six people with two sofa beds in the lounge area. Continental type breakfast was included with a variety of cakes and biscuits as well as a coffee machine and tea making facilities. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. A washing machine was also included and a drying rack was found under a bed. A secure parking garage was also nearby.
