Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

かっぱの宿旅館三治郎 ligger i Zao, 38 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Set in the peaceful TogattaOnsen, a very rural town. The area is easier to explore by car. The food was unbelievably good, we did half board, enjoying both breakfast and dinner Japanese style. The service was excellent, all the staff were so helpful, even with my limited Japanese. If you want a relaxing place, this is it, they have both public and private baths available (private is extra cost).

竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen ligger i Zao, 42 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har et fitnesscenter, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Exceeded all expectations. The half board meals are extremely generous. I could not eat all the Wagyu beef. Everything worked like in a dream. Will come back every year now.
