Staff was extremely friendly and able to fully correspond in English. Dinner and breakfast were both beautiful, unique and delicious. They really cater to making the most of the regional Tochigi cuisine and specialties. Room was clean and all the amenities were well though out and high quality. The room with the open air bath was well worth it alone so everything else was a bonus. I did not check out the public bath due to tattoo policy.

The whole experience was exceptional, the food magnificent, I would definitely recommend it and stay there again

A 40-minute drive brings guests to historical theme park Nikko Edomura. Though a bit far from a lot of things, being by the river and near the park was beautiful. Their onsen was great at night but you get spectacular views in the daylight
