Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

It felt like a premium experience. The room was bigger than expected which felt good. The onsen had a lot of options such as a sauna and cold dip among more.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Price quality is excellent. Japanese breakfast in the morning is nice, with various dishes prepared. The room itself was large and spacious. There is ample place to park your car, but train station is also in walking distance.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het Station Takayama en biedt kamers in Japanse stijl met een kleurrijk tintje. The room was great, quite a typical ryokan room but it also had a bath in the room which is not something you find everywhere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the station which was important because we had quite a bit of luggage, and one of the main reasons I picked it. It was also a convenient walk to the rest of the town and the morning market. The staff were friendly and helped us with the evening meals around at nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast on our last day which for us was a local selection that includes their famous hida beef. It was quite a big breakfast and very delicious.

Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen is gevestigd in een 100 jaar oud, historisch monument in Shizuoka en ligt op 7 minuten lopen van het JR treinstation van Ito. A beautiful retreat from the big city. I loved the short 5 minute walk to the ocean or a gorgeous walk along the Itoo river. The walk to the hostel was really lovely. I'll never forget sitting in the viewing area in our room as it rained under the moonlight.

Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort ligt in de rustige Hida-bergen, en biedt traditionele accommodatie met warmwaterbronnen en uitzicht op de natuur. Very nice and cosy space! Staff were friendly, facilities were nice, all was great! The free ramen at night was delicious! Food was generally not bad.

From being picked up from the Station, until we departed this was an exceptional place to stay. An full apartment sized room, a soak in one of the two hot springs, two western-style breakfasts, our favorite hotel on a 15 hotel tour of japan. Front of house and chef were both great.
