The exceptional feature of our cabaña (apart from its size) was the huge bow-window overlooking the lake, like an immense screen: it was far better that watching a film at the cinema, albeit slow-moving! Plus points: very effective wood-burning stove to heat, comfortable dining area.

Owner was very attentive and greeted us on arrival. The house has 4 bedrooms with 5 beds so very good for a bigger group stay. Nice and warm heater and good hot water. Beds are comfortable and wifi is fast. Recommend staying!

Patagonia 47g has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Aldana. Some units at the property have a balcony with a river view.

The location of this accommodation is very remote, 1 hour drive from Puerto Rio Tranquilo. We didn't realize this when we booked. The location and setting is however very unique and beautiful. You need your own transport, and requires a bit of planning (there are no restaurants around). We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms, beds, bedding, towels are all of a higher quality than we had previously seen in Chili. Hence also a big higher price. But well worth it!

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake.

Great lodge in a wonderful location and unexoectedly good food. Very helpfull staff, Definitely worth the relatively high price.

Hacienda Tres Lagos, is a charming place in the Chilean part of Patagonia. Isolated and surrounded by magnificent nature and the General Carrera, Negro and Betrand Lakes within walking distance.

Literally everything! The room was perfect with stunning views and the wood stove was an added bonus. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. The food was spectacular and I especially enjoyed the animals roaming the property who appeared very well cared for and loved.

Located next to General Carrera lake in the Aysén region, Parador Austral is surrounded by native forests with private access to Black Lake.

Best place we stayed on the Carretera austral. Beautiful setting and an excellent team led by Domingo who really looked after us. This hotel has charm in abundance.

We loved our stay! We arrived later on the day and were immediately greeted by Miguel, the host who explained everything for us and was always a great help. The cabin was amazing! The views of the lake are breathtaking, the interior is very cozy and we felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable, in the little kitchenette, you find everything for a basic dinner and the wifi was working smoothly. The bathroom was very clean and tasteful as the whole apartment!
