The hotel is very conveniently located, just few minutes walk to Baisha Main Street. Overall environment and ambience is very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The lounge and guest-room design is well appointed, exceptionally clean, cozy & comfortable making you feel right home. The hotel contacted me in advance right after my reservation and provide direction & map location. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and thoughtful, making the stay experience enjoyable. There is also a roof terrace overlooking the entire Baisha Ancient town with unblock view of Yulong, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. One is able to catch the sunrise of the mountain, 日照金山 in the morning. Breakfast is fulling n delicious, options of local rice noodles or western French toast. Highly recommend to stay here.

The room has double-glazed windows that really keep the street noise out, the toilet seat stays warm—pretty fancy. Joye was always full of enthusiasm and more than willing to help us, he filled us in on all the cool places and fun things to do in Lijiang. We decided to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge and had a wonderful day. Joye, thanks for being so welcoming. You really made our Lijiang trip even better!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Lijiang Gemmer hotel, and we can't recommend it highly enough! It’s value for money. A special shout-out to our host, Mr. He. His dedication to providing exceptional service truly made our stay memorable. He was incredibly helpful, considerate, and responsible, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From recommending great local restaurants to arranging attractions and promptly handling our luggage, Mr. He made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is just a short walk from the picturesque old town, making it easy to explore the local culture and history. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, we highly recommend Lijiang Gemmer Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.
