by far the best value for money on the island – clean, nice, and very spacious. Gigliola was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. I originally booked for a shorter visit but ended up extending for two more nights because I liked it so much. The location is also a big plus: it’s on a quiet street, which is not always easy to find in San Andrés. In general compared to many shady places on the island where you have old installations, dirty rooms, no water etc this one is a rare asset. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropical Coral and even extended it. Hotel is small and run by a very friendly family who is very welcoming and provides all the needed information, they can book tours for you at very reasonable price. Meals are not provided but you have a small kitchen and vending machine on site. Our room was large with basic equipment but we had all we needed. The walls are quite thin but this wasn’t a problem as mainly families were staying at the hotel and there was no noise after 10pm. Location of the hotel itself is around 30min walk from main beach and 40min walk from town center. It’s nice because you’re away from town noise in a quiet street, just a few meters away from the sea. To move around the island, you can take a taxi to city for 15.000 or rent a scooter or use a local bus from a stop at the corner of the street as we did.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropical Coral and even extended it. The walls are quite thin but this wasn’t a problem as mainly families were staying at the hotel and there was no noise after 10pm. Location of the hotel itself is around 30min walk from main beach and 40min walk from town center. It’s nice because you’re away from town noise in a quiet street, just a few meters away from the sea. To move around the island, you can take a taxi to city for 15.000 or rent a scooter or use a local bus from a stop at the corner of the street as we did.

breakfast was not good.first day slice packaged cheese and cold meat way over cooked eggs.Second breakfast was a slice of pizza.coffee was good.No secure parking, our rental had all the gas siphoned during the night.Have to ring door bell every time you enter or leave property.Dogs are nice but bark to much..Everybody was very nice, but sometimes that is not enough.Staying at another place same price but with none of the above problems.

The property is huge, the pool is warm. The bathroom is great and the water gets hot so that’s definitely a plus. The room has a air conditioner. There’s a chef for all the meals who makes the most delicious food. The staff are the most friendly people we’ve met. We were able to rent a scooter from one of the women who run the property (I’d recommend asking a few days or weeks in advance) do your self a favor and skip a car rental because parking anywhere is a task. Can’t wait to visit again!
