Our visit to this lodge was unforgettable!The rooms and all the property have a very special charm:) Everything was clean and very much thought about. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was amazing and plenty, they cooked eggs from their own chickens! Owners' hospitality was exceptional, it was pleasure to meet such a wonderful couple! We hike the trails and visited hot springs pool nearby. Highly recommend this place for families and couples, you will not regret:)

The hostess was wonderfull. She looked after us, offered us plants from her vegetable garden. We even got treated to the visit of a sloth on her property.

The genuine kindness of our hosts was really moving.... Letting us taste different types of juices...helping us to plan our visit to the volcano areas and helping our son who had a skinburn on his arms. The lodge itself is very authentic. The garden benefits from more than 40 years of carefully maintenance with lots of love..with flowers and trees you think you find yourself in a botanical garden. Hummingbirds are flying around your head during breakfast. And finally...the food was gorgeous...homegrown vegetables and fruits and produces such as ricotta cheese..very royal quantities...your own grand mother would not have spoiled you so well. Thanks for the lovely stay and memory

Ernesto the host and the vibe of the place. The story behind the place is heart warming and gives you positive feelings. The hidden river is a must, you can swim and chill in the middle of the nature. Ernesto helped us a lot, gave us explanations about animals around and place to visit. He even gave us advices about the best itinerary to take to go on our next stop. Lovely place, kind person, touching encounter.

Owner was very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious and chef Isabel was delightful! Visited nearby "Aqua Celeste." It was lovely. The pool is a nice size & safe depth for children. In my opinion, this property is a little too big & kind of expensive for just 1 person. It would be great value for a big family or couples vacationing together.

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Johnny (I think he is the owner or manager), could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us with a coffee and snacks after a long journey from Nicaragua. He arranged a room with 2 single beds into a double room with air conditioning even though the hotel was busy. He also helped us with transport and recommendations for activities, as well as showing and telling us about all the wildlife that surrounds the hotel. He is so kind. The hotel is very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious, and you eat it whilst sat outside listening to the birds and nature. Would absolutely stay here again!

everything. It starts with the awesome hospitality of Cecile and Eric. Everyone is so nice and kind. Then there is the rich, very special and always fresh breakfast each morning which gets you started for a fun packed day. You have so many opportunities to do in the area, like Tenorio with Rio Celeste or a night jungle tour and many more. But you can also just stay on the finca grounds and explore. There we have seen tons of different birds (including 3 types of toucans) as well as white faced monkeys. The cabins have a really high standard and nothing was missing. Cecile provided us with the best tips were we could have a great dinner. Our whole family never wanted to leave - It was our last stop on our trip but we couldn’t have chosen a better place.
