The hosts are very kind and friendly. The communication in advance was perfect. The house is located on the corner of Fillerweg and Mühlenweg, in a quiet, suburban environment. The railway/bus station, supermarkets (Aldi, Kaufland) and the old town are all within a 15-minute walk. It is a very good starting point for exploring Harz mountain and its beautiful towns. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (attic). Nicely furnished, clean, well equipped. It was decorated with Christmas decorations, as we spent Christmas there. We also received sweets and glühwein. Wifi worked well. The heating was very good, it was always warm in the apartment. The bed was a bit soft and narrow for us. There is only 1 chair at the dining table. There are cute chickens in the garden. All in all, exceptional value for money.
