Such a fantastic taste of paradise. Everything at subtropica is done with love and skill. The breakfasts are superb, the pool is crystal clean and perfect temperature, the grounds are gorgeous with healthy beautiful plants growing everywhere. Friendliness and kindness of all the staff - especially Josslyn and Margarit. Josslyn organised a bird spotting tour for us late the night before. The room opened up to the rainforest - really special! Comfortable beds and great shower. Very good breakfast. Wonderful dining area open to the rainforest and gorgeous hummingbirds! Secure parking for our motorbike.

Amazing place to sleep with the sound of the nature and wake up hearing and seeing birds. The owners are really nice. Everything is cleaned. The streets are safe and it is very close from the main place.

The apartment was amazing with an incredible view overlooking the forest. The hotel was located very close to the main section of town - we chose to mostly walk, however taxis were available if needed. The food was very nice, both breakfast and dinner. The host and staff at the hotel were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again. - Luke and Mary
