Darwin was a super host and chef. He helped us organise a guide to take us up Cotopaxi (Patricio who also was amazing). Darwin provided great communication before we even arrived helping us get to his hotel via bus or taxi. Nice fire in the restaurant to dry off after a day of walking, hot water in the room, cozy bed Theres even a small shop opposite for any snacks

Tambopaxi is an truly exceptional place inside the National Parc. Through our window, we had a magnificent view on Cotapaxi Vulcano. Sleeping inside the National Parc has the great advantage that you can start a walk or a ride with horses at your door step. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is good and the daily menu really fills up after a day of walking. A small but extremely lovely element was the fact that they light up the fireplace in your room at 17h00. Finally the place is "mountain" style so do not except a 5 star resort. But it fits perfectly in the environment and has a high standard. If you need transport, Guido with it's yellow school bus is a great person. You can ask his support through Tambopaxi Reception.

Amazing hotel! It is very beautiful with the best view over Cotopaxi Volcano from the restaurant. Rooms are very cozy and equipped with heaters. Shower has hot water. The food is delicious - both for dinner and for breakfast. I think we had the best potato soup in Ecuador here. And the best part is the owner who is the nicest and most welcoming person. He can also help you to organize your time in Cotopaxi

The food was the best we had on our vacation. The staff were extra kind and accommodating. Horseback riding, jacuzzi, billiards, darts, fireplace were all fun and relaxing. Sightseeing in the middle of 5 volcanoes (including mildly active Cotopaxi) between 6am and 8am was the absolute most awe-inspiring landscape view I have ever seen. Nobody saw the peak & plume for 3 weeks before we got there. Don't miss this destination on your itinerary!

Amazing place: peaceful, quiet with plenty of cute animals. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (especially dinner cooked by the owner Adrien 👌🏻). Adrien organised us transport for Cotopaxi, Quilotoa and Saquisilí and we enjoyed everything a lot. Thank you! We definitely recommend this place and would have loved to stay there even a bit longer.
