The house was amazing. Loads of space full cooking facilities if you didn’t want to eat out. Transport to the supermarket can be organised if you’re not driving. You just pay once for the zoo and as you’re staying onsite you have full access for your entire stay. Fantastic activities onsite

A truly magical stay at the Northern Lights Lakehouse! Our experience at the Northern Lights Lakehouse in Rovaniemi was absolutely unforgettable. The facilities were wonderful — modern, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every detail was clearly cared for with love and attention. The setting itself is breathtaking. Waking up to the serene view of the beautiful lake and surrounding forest felt like stepping into a postcard. But the most magical moment came on our very first evening, when we witnessed the Northern Lights dancing across the sky, right in front of the lake. It was an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the beauty and peace of Lapland. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return!

Sensational. It exceeded expectations. Even with temperatures of minus 20ºC, the cabin and the igloo were very comfortable. Extremely well equipped for cooking. The distance to the igloo was not a problem. Having a car is recommended, but it doesn't have to be 4-wheel drive. 50 min easy drive to Rovaniemi. Go to the market before because you won't want to leave.

The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).

House was in a great location. Quite remote, which makes it even better. Perfect size for two families. Kitchen was equipped very well with all the necessary equipment. I think it would be a great place to visit at summer as well. Only one hour drive from Rovaniemi. Absolutely no problems with the owner or key handover in out of the check in time.

Deep in the woods, on the bank of the lake. Awesome wooden cabin with the sauna and all needed for life and fun. I cannot even name all the things are there, here are some: fishing rods, SUP boards, sauna, darts, batuut, rowing boat hot sauna bath, private pier, terrace etc.
