The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.

Cute cottage, spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds, quiet. Views of the ocean. Vinna and Robert were wonderful hosts, warm hospitality, so helpful. Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

Stayed at four different resorts across Fiji as part of our honeymoon and this was probably our favourite. Small enough to really care, it's a beautiful, private resort with very friendly, approachable staff embedded in the local community. There's loads to do, decent food (catering fairly well for vegetarians), and all for a reasonable price.

Situated a short walk from Taveuni Beach, Maravu Taveuni Lodge offers accommodation with access to the beach and a colorful and vibrant reef. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Maravu Taveuni Lodge. The staff does everything to make sure you are having a good time, with local guides (Rafa and Karly) arranging and going with you on the beautiful trips all over the island (like the Bouma Waterfalls, Lavena Coastal Walk, the water slide etc). The communication with Maravu was easy and efficient. Will recommend Maravu to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful island of Taveuni.

The Host family was very welcoming and made us feel that we are part of their family as well. Eparama and his son took us to all the tourist attractions and chauffeured my family all around the island. Mili and Aunty made the best breakfast from the presentation, homegrown fruits and freshly made pancakes... it fueled us up for the whole day. Uncle told us many stories of the olden times and the traditions of the island. Our time with the family will be cherish for many years to come.
