We’re so happy we came across this listing on Booking! Our stay at B&B Le Gorget was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, we felt wrapped in the warmth and care of our wonderful welcoming hosts - Isabelle, Vincent, and XL 🐶 The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. And the homemade breakfast? Absolutely delicious! The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still conveniently close to Grenoble, making it a great base for exploring the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Apartment was clean and we had no trouble with parking- lucky enough to get a parking out front. There were a few problems such as incorrect supplied wifi password which the owner replied to promptly and fixed. There were shops in comfortable walking distance - bakery and supermarket. It was a long walk to town but the tram stop was only a few metres away.

This is a pretty little place in a quiet village underneath some beautiful mountains. This is definitely a nicer suburb of Grenoble with a lovely daytime restaurant just outside and only 1.6K to a great supermarket.

We booked Rocky Pop at very short notice when we lost the electricity supply to our holiday rental appartment shortly after arriving and had to find alternative accommodation quickly for the rest of our stay We couldn't have made a better choice and our rate was excellent value. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, stored our luggage from early morning and allowed us to check in hours ahead of the official time. Our fourth floor studio apartment was spacious and elegantly decorated in dark blue and neutral tones with colour accents, and included a huge comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a good-size oval dining table and chairs, a large smart TV, and a separate toilet and bathroom with a full-sized bath and a very effective over-bath shower. We had tons of storage space, daily housekeeping and everything was in excellent repair and spotlessly clean. While the hotel was busy and seemed popular with young families, our room was very quiet and we slept very well. We ate in the hotel's casual (and popular) diner-style restaurant on one evening and the menu was varied and tasty. The reception area had unlimited free tea/coffee and still/sparkling water available for guests. Check in and out was very easy, and all of the staff we encountered were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a youthful, fun vibe but we didn't feel at all out of place as older guests. The location is very central in an attractive area within easy walking distance from all of the sights, with a tram stop just two minutes' walk away (four stops to the railway/bus station). There's a couple of supermarkets just across the road, a fruit and vegetable shop virtually next door, with a cheese shop, bakery, wine shops, cafes, restaurants, etc just along the street. Highly recommended!

My neighbour next door was on the phone from 8.15pm untill 11.35pm and I understood any single word and moreover even the voice of his female counterpart. So I asked the Hotel staff after 1hr to change the room, since the parking lot was less than 50% full (apart from Restaurant charing the parking too). And I explained in addition, that the 8hrs drive was stressful due to several traffic jams. Having said this, the dissapointment was subsequently quite hugh. In a nutshell, no recommendation, I m sorry.
