Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France.

Absolutely lovely property. We very much enjoyed staying in this old castle. We can't even imagine how hard the upkeep of the property is for the caring couple that welcomed us. Dinner was amazing, the hosts were caring and lovely. It was a memorable stay, our first one ever in a space that oozes time that passed a long time ago. Ideal for writers and creative people. Piece of paradise on earth. We stayed in the beautifully renovated family room. Bedroom with separate 'sitting area and bathroom'. We were the only guests that day. It was blissfully quiet. Myrtille will forever have a place in our hearts. My daughter and we instantly fell in love with the cat. We would love to come back here!!!
