The home is extremely elegant and modern. There is attention to detail in all aspects, like fresh flowers, walk-in wardrobe sensor lights, kitchen gadgets. Ample space, all bedrooms have double beds. The sauna is a lovely surprise. The view of the ocean is an absolute delight. I would recommend this property and the Isle of Lewis as a place to reset in beautiful surroundings. The ferry trip from Ullappool to Stornoway was also an additional bonus to our holiday. The weather on the island is changeable, so please always have padded jackets and rain coats.

We had a wonderful time. The house is the cleanest I've ever found in my entire tourism experience. Nothing is missing, absolutely nothing. You can feel the care and love the owners have for this house and, above all, their desire to make guests feel welcome. Every question was answered promptly. We arrived late and it was a lovely surprise to find the lights on and the house warm; it was exactly what we dreamed of. Another thing to note: the mattresses are very comfortable. We slept very well. It's a shame we only stayed one night; we'll definitely be back for more.

Staff was fantastic. Meals were delicious. They did our laundry for us and followed all our very specific requests. :-) We were in Scotland for 17 days and this was our favorite location out of 8 locations. We wished we were staying there longer.

I had a short visit to Stornoway on Buisiness, I arrived late at night and left very early in the morning. Unfortunately it meant I missed the breakfast... however Olive kindly made me sandwiches both days. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Everything about the place was amazing, the unique setting of the castle, the attention to detail was incredible and management were so responsive and welcoming. A fantastic location for exploring not only Stornoway but Lewis and Harris. The small fridge in the room was so handy for keeping snacks for day trips. The best nights sleep in the comfiest bed.

Stornoway Bed and Breakfast is set in two properties in the centre of Stornoway, only 250 metres on foot from Stornoway Ferry Terminal and a 2-minute walk from the bus station.
