First of all it’s placement at Isle of Mull! This place is amazing, beautiful and as authentic you could wish. Second, the staff did upgrade our room without charging any extra, so we arrived to a suite with an unexplainable view to the sea. So pretty! The Western Isles Hotel made space for us at the restaurant and served a big, great meal. If we should ask for anything here, it would be an bit extra heat, but with the heat from everywhere else this place (generously) it didn’t play that big a role. Thanks for a great stay!

We booked four rooms in total as we were travelling with family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My husband and I were in a seaview suite (number 7) and absolutely loved the feel of the room. The food left was great - the buns, cold cuts, cheese, crackers, granola, milk, oj, bubbly etc. Really appreciated the bubbly :). Every room was stocked as well as ours and each had their own personality. We did not end up using the honesty bar as we brought our own wine however the back sitting room was great. The whole family was able to unwind in that lovely back room and relax with the windows open letting in the sea air while we played some board games, shared some wine etc. The board games are a very nice addition. The town center is down quite a steep hill - my mom made it (she is 78) but as we had her and our grandson (9 months) with us we took a taxi back. Call Mull Taxi - they were great! All in all a great stay. We didn't see the house rules at first and started firing questions out to the info email and the response time was phenomenal - for anyone reading this review they leave the house rules and handy tips doc on the bed :).

Lovely location with superb views over the Harbour. We had an upper room with small sofa as well. Very welcoming host. Good breakfast (must order day before) and easy on street parking. (Note very steep walk down to the harbour)

Great location on harbour, easy street parking. Staff were friendly and the daily breakfast provided was very tasty. Inner room (#11) had no street noise, though could hear people from the rooms around me open/close doors and walk up/down the hallway.
