The house is new and cozy. It does have all the facilities you need. Located in the middle of Monroe Island this house is just the best place to visit this part of India with authenticity. Karun (the host) is just super nice and he will make you feel at home at every moment. He booked for me a beautiful boating tour at the sunrise. He was always asking if I need food for lunches and dinners and served me delicious dishes when asked, directly at home. He also lended his scooter to let me visiting around the area. Just the best host I could ask for.

Lovely family, very friendly, and made a special effort to celebrate Christmas Day with us. Also made a huge effort to get us fishing when their friends’ plan changed and he couldn’t take us - they went to many shops to buy hooks, and made rods out of wood - it was amazing fun and they really made us get the most out of Munroe island.

We had a very, very nice stay with the family. They are incredibly warm, caring, and attentive. Breakfast and dinner are freshly prepared and very tasty! My friend got sick and we were able to stay longer without any problems. They drove us to the hospital and took great care of us. We highly recommend the family and the homestay! I spent an amazing 3 nights stay in this homestay managed by an really sympathic young man and his lovely family, so kind, helpful and full of good discussions. And so tasty food! Also room really clean and all the comfort needed. And above all, what a experience to discover that incredible island and its inhabitants (people as animals), with the opportunity to see it with an early morning pirogue tour made by the homestay's owner, just superb !
