Wow highly recommended! First of all - the entire staff is amazing, pleasant, courteous, helpful and very nice. The room we received was very large, comfortable and clean, the shower room and toilet were also clean. Surrounded by endless scenery, can even see the smoke from the geothermal area in the distance. The hotel is about fifteen minutes drive from Lake Myvatn. There is also a very nice hot tub. Varied and delicious breakfast. Also a very nice dinner. It is important for me to add, the owner of the place is so nice! He helped us a lot, we were worried that we had a problem with the car and he helped us and fixed it.

It is one of the most comfortable places in Iceland that I've stayed, such a lovely apartment. Really lovely bed, great shower and great facilities including the Hot tub. That's why it's been my second time back here. Such a great location as well.

Lovely place. Lovely hosts. Very helpful and welcoming. Welcome gift of lovely baked goodies. Spacious, comfortable, clean, peaceful location, yet close to many sights. Use the local Laugar pool if you can. Highly recommend and would stay at again.

We stayed in the cottage, so I can't tell about the other rooms. The cottage was great, very bright on the inside, fully equipped - including a BBQ on the terrace - and very spacious. To top the great accommodation an excellent breakfast was served in the main building - featuring several home-made products. A clear 10 out of 10.
