Dalasetur far exceeded our expectations. What a wonderful find! Daniel is a warm and lovely host with his adorable little dog Yoki. There is soooo much attention to detail here, a lot of love has gone into the creation of Dalasetur…and heated polished concrete floors made our stay extra cosy. I thought this would be a “traveling through” stay, but this is actually a perfect base for experiencing the less traveled and non-touristy part of northern Iceland. Next time I will stay for much longer. A heavy snowfall changed our plans so we had to extend our stay (lucky for us!) and Daniel made sure we were comfortable and safe: he gave us candles and torches when the power unexpectedly went out for a short while due to the storm, cleared snow from our deck (AND car windows), paths to both spas and the sauna, and plowed the road clear for our departure. Such a lovely and kind man. Oh, and about the spa by the river in the snow…just wow!!!

Our family really liked everything, we were welcomed very kindly. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Fresh, pleasant air. Our family will definitely come again. I recommend this place, it is very beautiful here.

Beautiful house with a big kitchen, very cosy and well furnished. The check in is easy, the staff was super helpful and nice and the area gave us good viewpoints to catch auroras ! If you love horses this one is for you, it’s on a horse farm !

We loved everything. Absolutely, everything! This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 11-day trip around Iceland. The room was perfectly decorated and very comfortable with a good and comfy bed and also had a nice bathroom. The room was very spacious and offered a breathtaking view over the valley, in particular during the spectacular sunset. The breakfast buffet was above our expectations with excellent fresh food from the farm itself or locally produced. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The dinner was also excellent, and the views made it even better. The choice is not large but everything is fresh and really local. For those who like it, you can even order horse steak. We just regret that we did not spend more time here (we arrived for the sunset and left early the next morning). Definitely a place I would love to book again!

Great place! Wonderful location 50 meters from the ocean, a quiet and peaceful place where you can feel close to nature. The rooms are simply furnished, clean, with comfortable beds, and the breakfasts are delicious. The owner, Julia, is very friendly and simply a very nice person. Thank you and best regards :)

The location, the set-up of the room, the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland.
