The room was very big, but I think we got the biggest room because we also had a small private terrace. The location is very remote and is a nice touch the free tickets to the Viking Village. A lot of parking spaces and very close to Hofn, 10-15 minutes drive.

The guesthouse is very beautiful and the location feels quite magical. The city of Hofn is just a few minutes' drive away as well as the Viking village. Inga is an excellent host, very warm, welcoming and informative. There was a weather warning around our travel time and she reached out to us with detailed instructions, information resources and some great advice. The stay felt like an authentic Icelandic experience. Inga even took us to meet her beautiful horses before we left. The room is a great size, super comfortable and very well equipped. The toilet is not ensuite but down the hallway, it still felt very private and convenient. We were served a very hearty and delicious breakfast before we checked out. We felt right an home and wish our stay could have been longer.

Despite being initially concerned about bathroom wait times, we found there were plenty available, so it was never an issue. Amazing house, very comfortable and spacious. Extremely well equipped kitchen, we found everything we needed. The owners left very clear instructions that helped a lot organizing our stay. The house is in the middle of the fields, so it;s extremely quiet, but it's 10 mins drive from Hofn, so very convenient.
