This hotel excels in every aspect—its rooms, facilities, restaurants, and most notably, its staff. The mostly young team, some of whom speak English, makes communication easier for English-speaking guests like us from Singapore. Their customer service is exceptional, and they are undoubtedly a great asset to the hotel. One bespectacled young man from the Front Office (whose name we unfortunately do not know) stood out as truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist us when we encountered a problem—where many might have simply shrugged it off, he took the initiative to help. Together with the housekeeping and restaurant staff, the Front Office team made our three-night stay an unforgettable experience.

The location was absolutely magical and dreamy. The view is stunning — perched right in the middle of a coastal cliff surrounded by nature. Make sure to stock up on enough food and drinks at the supermarket, because once you arrive, you won’t want to leave for at least 2–3 days. It feels incredible to be completely surrounded by peace and quiet, far from the chaos of the cities. For us, it was the perfect ending to a three-week trip around Japan — a chance to slow down, enjoy the seaside, and have a special moment just for ourselves.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We also booked dinner at their restaurant and it was an exceptional meal. They were also able to cater to special dietary needs. The house was very clean and modern with so many thoughtful touches, making it feel cosy and practical. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. There is also free parking and shops and restaurants are within walking distances. A great location to discover Dogashima bay and go for scenic cliff walks nearby.

This is a golden spot! The house is worth a visit itself. It is traditionallly renovated, clean och simply beautiful in a calm and non-touristy area of south-west Izu. The host is so welcoming and kind, and we had dinner at her friends' little restaurant just next door - our best Tonkatsu we've had. It is recommended to travel here by car, but bikes are available for use during the stay. All we can say is: make sure not to miss this. 10 out of 10!
