My stay at Tea Escape was genuinely memorable. The views are stunning and create such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious every day, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. This was a great location close by the tower we were visiting with an amazing host. It is nice clean and comfortable for our short stay. My wife decided to stay here because they have a shower separate from the toilet and she always slips in the wet rooms. The host gave us a lot of local recommendations for food and other activities and took the time out of her day to ensure we were comfortable on our stay. She even provided breakfast for us for our stay! I highly recommend this host!

We loved everything with this house and the host, and wished we had booked more than one night! The house and garden was beautiful and it instantly felt like “home”. Close to town but off all the noisy roads. The rooms were good and had everything we needed, one with an ac. In the morning she came and made breakfast for us! We had forgot a bag 3h away with tuktuk, and they helped us with a driver who picked it up for us in just a few hours! This saved a whole day traveling for us and was more than we could ask for! Thank you! ❤️

Kumudu was very helpful all the time although we just stayed for one night. We were allowed to use his kitchen without any extra fee. The WIFI also did his job. Showering was able with WARM water.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

Great restaurant and hotel near to the Ambulawawa observation tower. The owner is very polite and helpful, he shows us around and shows everything, he also cooks great. We are very pleased, there is a family atmosphere and many very nice decorations handmade by the owner, which gives this place a unique atmosphere. Here is private parking for our tuk tuk as well. If you are going to the observation tower, this is a great place to stay.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We planned for one night but extended for two! The hosts are so so friendly and helpful - they had parking for our TukTuk, helped us organise the train tour, tea plantations, tower & cooked delicious dinner for us. If you don’t have a TukTuk/scooter you can take a nice short 15 min walk to the town. I recommend going for sunset, it’s very beautiful! Thank you guys!
